Built on the same platform as the AK-UCX100 studio camera, the AK-UBX100 4K HDR 12G-SDI Studio Camera from Panasonic features a large 19MP sensor that is ready to meet your live video demands with up to 12G-SDI output, SMPTE ST 2110 redundancy, and support for NDI and SRT. This professional broadcast camera features a high 2000 TV-line, UHD 4K resolution video at rates up to 59.94 fps. Ideal for LED walls, volume projection, sports broadcasting, and live events, the AK-UBX100 offers standalone operation without requiring a CCU, outputting video via its fiber optic, LAN, and 12G-SDI connectors.
Excellent Resolution
The 19MP MOS sensor uses oversampling to output highly detailed images with 2000 TV-line resolution. High 2000 lux sensitivity and a 62 dB signal-to-noise ratio help to produce high-quality video, even in low-light scenarios.
Versatile, Compact Design
Providing flexible compatibility with both baseband and IP systems, the AK-UBX100 supports various IP standards, including 12G-SDI, SMPTE ST 2110, NDI High Bandwidth, and SRT, all without requiring the use of a CCU.
The lightweight body weighs only 4.2 lb, and its box-style design features flat sides and 1/4"-20 screw holes, allowing the body to be securely mounted on tripods, gimbals, ceiling rigs, or cranes without the need for tools. It's also compatible with robotic pan/tilt heads such as the Movicom Robyhead D1.
Unified Platform with Color Matching
The AK-UBX100 utilizes the same platform and shared menu interface as the AK-UCX100, which eliminates the complexity of color matching, eliminating the challenges of conventional workflows for unified operability across different devices.
It also connects directly to the AK-HRP1010 or AK-HRP1015 Remote Operation Panel (ROP) used with the AK-UCX100 and AW-UE160, offering the same menus and button layouts to prevent any confusion. It is also compatible with the AW-RP150 and AW-RP60 remote camera controllers and AK-MSU1000 master setup unit.
Connection Redundancy
The AK-UBX100 provides SMPTE ST 2110 compatibility, enabling redundant operation and network redundancy during IP operation. It also features two SFP+/28 slots and two 12G SDI outputs for added redundancy, and A/B redundant 4K routes can be secured on both optical/IP and baseband lines.
ND Filter Wheel
A built-in ND filter wheel enables you to easily adjust your exposure on the fly. It features CLEAR, 1/2, 1/4, 1/16, and 1/64 settings.
Low-Pass Filter Option
An optional OLPF (optical low-pass filter) helps to reduce any moire effects when capturing LED walls, providing clear visuals of stage shows using LED displays.
Built-In Autofocus Support
With a future firmware update, the camera will support PDAF (phase detection autofocus), so the camera can quickly and reliably focus on subjects regardless of the lens type being used or the operator's level of experience. The position, size, and speed of the target area can be adjusted in stages, allowing skilled operators to seamlessly switch to manual fine-tuning whenever necessary.
